EAST LANSING, Mich. — After winning two matches yesterday and advancing herself to the singles main draw round of 16, University of Akron tennis player Ariadna Blinova's run at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships ended Sunday at Michigan State's Indoor Tennis Facility.
"It took a little while for Ari to get use to the pace she saw today from her opponent, but once she did, she was right in the match," said head coach Brandon Padgett. "I wish we could have found a way to get the match into the third set because I feel that Ari would have made things very interesting.
