AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's soccer team fought for 90 minutes with the top team in the Mid-American Conference, Kent State, but fell, 4-0, on Thursday night at FirstEnergy – Cub Cadet Field.
On the night, the Zips offense was paced by senior Sarah Sivic (Broadview Heights, Ohio) with five shots, while senior Hannah Werth (Bloomington, Minn.) and sophomore Erica Schrader (Blacklick, Ohio) tallied two shots each. An additional seven Akron players recorded a shot, respectively. In total, Akron registered 16 shots with three coming on goal.
