Roseann Schwartz Final Results
Youngstown, Ohio – For the second consecutive year, the Akron women's golf team recorded its first tournament win of the season at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational with a 595 (+19) tournament total.
Once again, the Zips swept the top three positions on the leaderboard as sophomore Danielle Nicholson (Geneva, Ohio) retained medalist honors, junior Pader Her (Holt, Mich.) finished runner-up, and sophomore Makayla Dull (Fremont, Ohio) placed third en route to the 24-stroke victory.
"Entering a tournament as the defending champions adds a little more pressure than usual, and I'm proud of how we kept our focus on the right things," Zips' head coach Jenny King said.
