AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron track and field program will send 23 student-athletes from its men's and women's teams – competing in 16 events – to the NCAA East Preliminary Round at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky., from May 25-27.
The group looks to join junior Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio), who earned an automatic-qualifying bid to the NCAA Championships, June 7-10, in Eugene, Ore.
