OXFORD, Ohio – For the second straight year, the Akron women's swimming and diving team kicked off the Mid-American Conference Championships by breaking the MAC record in the 200 medley relay.
On Wednesday night at Corwin Nixon Aqautic Center, the team of sophomore Madison Myers (Akron, Ohio), junior Paloma Marrero Munoz (Merida, Spain), sophomore Sadie Fazekas (Windsor, Ontario) and sophomore Ragen Engel (Springfield, Ohio) took home the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:36.89 and set a new MAC, meet and program record.
