AKRON, Ohio – For the second straight weekend, the Akron women's tennis team swept a pair of matches as the Zips picked up a 6-1 win over Oakland and a 7-0 decision over Morgan State on Saturday, Feb. 11 at LaTuchie Tennis Center.
Akron is now 5-2 on the season and has won four straight matches.
"Today was a long day, but a productive one. We were challenged and pushed in both matches, which is exactly what we needed. I am happy that we were able to see everyone on the court today as it helps us see what everyone needs to continue to work on," said head coach Brandon Padgett.
