AKRON, Ohio — The University of Akron women's tennis team will conclude its fall schedule at the Youngstown State Invitational on Nov. 4-6 at the Boardman Tennis Center.
Four Zips are set to participate in this weekend's action including freshman Rita Pedroso, senior captain Shannon Newnes, sophomore Carla Flores, and junior Waverly Wituski.
UA is one of six teams playing at the event, joining Niagara, Oakland, Olivet Nazarene, Toledo and UNOH (Northwestern Ohio).
"This will be our final competition for the fall, so I am excited to see how we finish up as a team," said head coach Brandon Padgett.
