BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University of Akron volleyball team locked up a 3-2 (25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-) victory in a pivotal five set thriller over Buffalo Thursday evening at Alumni Arena.
The match was nothing short of a nail-biter from start to finish as the Zips fielded five players with double-digit kills to improve their record to 8-17 and 3-10 in the Mid-American Conference.
