CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Akron volleyball team earned nine Academic All-MAC selections to the 2016 Volleyball Academic All-MAC team, announced by the Mid-American Conference on Monday, Dec. 5.
Toledo led the conference with a total of 10 student-athletes making the team while Akron followed close behind with nine student-athletes receiving honors.
In all, 78 student-athletes from all 12 volleyball conference institutions were honored including; senior Amanda Bedell (Hudson, Ohio), senior Karley Kusan (Columbus, Ohio), senior Brenna Mack (Mound, Minn.), senior Callie Mack (Mound, Minn.), junior Jessica Kloehn (Milwaukee, Wis.
