MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron track and field standouts senior Claudia Garcia Jou (Barcelona, Spain) and juniors Phil Jagers (Solon, Ohio) and Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio) were tabbed by the Mid-American Conference as the MAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, April 5.
Garcia Jou was selected as the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after recording the third-best jump (6-1.
