Akron, Ohio – Coming off a fifth place finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational, the Akron women's golf team will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 3-4, in Columbia, Mo. at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
"The Johnie Imes is one of our favorite events," Zips' head coach Jenny King said. "We love the course and enjoy the opportunity to compete against some great teams that we don't normally see. It will be a great experience for us."
The University of Missouri will host the 54-hole event at the Tigers' home course, The Club at Old Hawthorne, a par-72 that stretches 6,204-yards through a rolling terrain with multiple water hazards and fairway bunkers.
