AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron softball program will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2016-17 season on October 4, at 1:30 p.m., at Lee Jackson Field.
A mandatory informational meeting for those interested in walking-on will take place September 27, at 1:30 p.m., in the Stile Athletics Field House classroom.
To be eligible to tryout, each student must be enrolled full time at The University of Akron and cleared by the NCAA Initial Eligibility Center. Please bring proof of insurance and proof of a physical in the last year along with the attached compliance review form to the September 27th meeting.
