AKRON, Ohio -- Senior Erin Seiler (Bowling Green, Ohio) was named the Mid-American Conference East Pitcher of the Week for the third time this year for her spectacular pitching performances this past week, announced on Monday.
The senior pitcher was also named named the Zips' Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by The University of Akron.
Seiler was dominant in all aspects inside the circle this week against Buffalo and Ohio. The Zips pitching staff ace appeared in all five contests and made four starts this past week posting a 4-1 record. In 31.2 innings of work, four complete games and one shut out, Seiler boasted a phenomenal 0.
