AKRON, Ohio - The New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League (NASL) have signed former University of Akron men's soccer standout Danilo Radjen to a contract to join the reigning NASL Champions.
The Cosmos are one of the more historic clubs in United States professional soccer with legendary players such as Pele and Franz Beckenbauer have donned the Cosmos' uniform during their distinguished careers.
"I am very excited for Danilo," said Akron men's soccer coach Jared Embick. "He is a very talented player that has worked hard for this opportunity.
