AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron Women's Tennis Coach Brandon Padgett was named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Chair for the Midwest Region for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
"I am excited about the opportunity to serve the Midwest region, and will take this appointment extremely serious," said Padgett. "Our region has an enormous amount of talented players, all whom deserve the best representation possible, which Mark Ardizzone (DePaul University Women's Tennis Coach) diligently provided for years. I will work hard to assure that same type of commitment and representation occurs moving forward.
