AKRON, Ohio- No. 12 Akron Rifle team will travel to Philadelphia to take on University of Sciences this Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 a.m.
Akron is led by Seniors Zachary Strohl (Barto, Pa.), Connor O'Mara (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.), and Junior Julia Hatch (Northfield, Vt.). All posted in the top ten individuals last week against North Carolina State. The Zips will be bringing nine members of the rifle team to compete against U of Sciences.
Freshman Anthony Jackson (Seven Valleys, Pa.) had a remarkable match last weekend, firing the perfect prone score of 200 with 20 center shots.
