INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore Madison Myers (Akron, Ohio) set a school record in the 100 freestyle on Saturday, the final day of the 2017 NCAA Championships at Indiana University's Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.
Myers touched the wall in the 100 free in 49.09, breaking the previous mark of 49.21. The Akron native finished 44th in the event.
Senior Luka Szynal (Lublin, Poland) placed 36th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.37 for the Zips.
In the 200 breaststroke, junior Paloma Marrero Munoz (Merida, Spain) registered a 24th place finish as she clocked in at 2:10.
