AKRON, Ohio – Sophomore swimmer, Madison Myers (Akron, Ohio), was named the Mid-American Conference swimmer of the week following her dominant performance at the Magnus Cup Invitational this past weekend, the league announced on Wednesday.
Myers was also named the MAC swimmer of the week by collegeswimming.com.
The sophomore put on a show up in Cleveland, Ohio at the Magnus Cup Invitational this past weekend to help the Akron swimming and diving team win its second consecutive Magnus Cup title.
Myers won four individual events, was a member of every winning Akron relay team, and also placed second in two more individual events.
