2016 USTFCCCA INDOOR T&F REGIONAL AWARD WINNERS
NEW ORLEANS, La. - University of Akron junior Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio) along with head coach Dennis Mitchell were honored by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as Great Lakes Regional Track and Coach of the Year recipients, respectively, the USTFCCCA announced on Friday, March 4.
"Clayton is very deserving of this honor," Mitchell commented. "His performances at the Mid-American Conference Championship were legendary. We look forward to seeing what can do the NCAA Championships.
