Bridgeport, W.Va. – After an hour fog delay at the Mountaineer Intercollegiate at the Pete Dye Course, the Akron men's golf team finally began to tee off. The Zips finished the initial 18-holes in third place with a 293 (+5), trailing the team leaders, Cincinnati (289, +1), by four strokes.
Unfortunately with the delay, the second round scores are not official, and the teams are scheduled to resume play with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. before the final round begins on Tuesday.
