AKRON, Ohio - Former University of Akron men's soccer standouts Adam Najem and Jonathan Lewis both recently realized the pinnacle of their respective athletic playing careers making their Major League Soccer debuts in 2017.
"I am extremely proud to see both Adam and Jonathan make their MLS debuts so early in their rookie seasons," Akron head coach Jared Embick commented. "I hope the early appearance for both will give them more confidence to continue to work towards bigger minutes as the season progresses. I believe both Adam and Jonathan have the skill and ability to have long professional careers.
