CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the second straight week, the duo of junior Carli Knezevich (Austin, Texas) and senior Karolina Maksimova (Mogilev, Belarus) received the MAC Doubles Team of the Week honor, as announced by league officials on Wednesday afternoon.
Knezevich and Maksimova helped the Zips extend their school-record winning streak with a pair of victories at the No. 1 doubles spot in wins over Toledo and Eastern Michigan.
The duo ran their record to 15-1 this spring by taking a 6-2 decision against the Rockets' Sidnay Huck/Dee Dee Leenabanchong and also registered a 7-5 win over the Eagles' Marie Mayerova/Andrea Martinovska.
