Karsner is the first Zip to garner MAC team honors for the first time since Tina Dimitrijevs in 2008
"We are extremely happy for and proud of Elya," said head coach Tom Hanna. "She had a solid first year for us and we are excited for the development that is still to come. It is hopefully the first of many MAC honors in her career.
