AKRON, Ohio – Junior centerfielder Savannah Fruin (Delray Beach, Fla.) and freshman designated player Gabrielle Fredericks (New Philadelphia, Ohio) were named to the 2016 MAC All-Tournament team after their performances through out the Zips post season run.
Fruin roamed centerfield all through out the tournament and was the Zips leadoff hitter in the lineup. The junior recorded a team-best .714 batting average (5-for-7), four RBI, two home runs, drew four walks, and scored four runs. Fruin posted a 1.571 slugging percentage and a .818 on base percentage.
