After yet another appearance in the final four of the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament, Akron soccer continued to display its impressiveness as five Zips players have either been drafted or signed to play in Major League Soccer.

For just the second time in the history of the program, a Zip was selected as the top overall pick of the MLS SuperDraft.
