OXFORD, Ohio -- Dalonte Brown scored 17 points and Darrian Ringo had 12 points, 11 assists and four steals to propel Miami (Ohio) to a 79-64 victory over Akron on Tuesday night.
Brown connected on 6 of 11 shots to help the RedHawks (12-10, 5-4 Mid-American Conference) shoot 48 percent from the floor. Ringo picked up his third points/assists double-double of the season and topped 10 assists in a game for the fifth time.
Malcolm Duvivier totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season for the Zips (10-11, 3-6).
