BOISE, Idaho– Akron senior LB Jatavis Brown (Belle Glade, Fla.) and Utah State QB Chuckie Keeton were named Humanitarian Award winners for their respective teams at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl's annual Humanitarian Awards dinner, presented by Internet Truckstop and Agri Beef, on Saturday evening.
Brown, the 2015 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time first-team All-MAC selection, is involved in the Akron community, making weekly visits to sick children at Akron's Children's Hospital.
