AKRON, Ohio – The Akron swimming and diving program will look to capture its fourth-consecutive Mid-American Conference championship when the Zips return to the pool for the 2016-17 season this October.
"The last three seasons have been outstanding. Each year our goals and expectations continue to propel this program higher and higher," said head coach Brian Peresie. "As we look toward this season, I believe even greater accomplishments are possible."
UA is set to host five home meets at the Ocasek Natatorium, including the annual Zippy Invitational.
Akron will get its season started with the annual Blue and Gold intra-squad scrimmage on Friday, Sept.
