INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Akron men's golfer, sophomore George Baylis (Ascot, England), will represent the Zips at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships at Blackwolf Run's Meadow Valleys Course in Kohler, Wisc., the NCAA Division I Golf Committee announced on Thursday.
The 54-hole regional tournament hosted by Marquette University will be played Monday through Wednesday, May 16-18, and includes 13 teams and 10 individuals.
"George is our second golfer to make regionals, but our first MAC Champion which makes it special on a different level," Zips' head coach David Trainor said.
