CLEVELAND: The University of Akron men’s basketball team will play in its ninth Mid-American Championship Game for the ninth time, but it wasn’t easy to get there.
After rumbling with the Ball State Cardinals Friday evening at Quicken Loans Arena, the Zips came away with a victory, winning 74-70.
Center Isaiah Johnson and Antino Jackson led the Zips with 19 points each.
The Zips will face teh winner of the Ohio-Kent State game.
