AKRON, Ohio - The second-ranked University of Akron men's soccer team will travel to Rochester, Mich, on Monday, Aug. 15, for the first of two exhibition contests in preparation for its 2016 campaign, as the Zips battle Oakland University in a 7 p.m. tilt.
"The first few days of training with the heat have been a little bit more inconsistent than we want, but the trainings have been intense," Akron head coach Jared Embick commented. "Monday is for perspective of where are we at based on an opponent in Oakland, who won its conference, and will be a good measuring stick.
