Sorrento, Fla. – The Akron women's golf team traveled to Sorrento, Fla. for the MSU Spring Citrus Challenge on Sunday-Tuesday, March 19-21, hosted by Morehead State at the par-72, 5,929-yard RedTail Golf Club.
"It's good to return to the RedTail with some experience, and the majority of the team playing the course before," head coach Jenny King said. "We are looking for a little redemption from last year and are fortunate to be able to play in the warm weather. There are some tricky holes, and if managed correctly, could help us gain strokes against the field.
