NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Akron track and field program reaped the rewards for its efforts during the outdoor campaign this season as six Zips garnered United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America citations following the conclusion of the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past week.
Collecting first-team recognition for the Zips was sophomore Matt Ludwig (Chardon, Ohio), senior Nikki Manson (Glasgow, Scotland) and juniors Terrell McClain (Youngstown, Ohio) and Jackie Siefring (Covington, Ohio).
