AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's basketball team claimed a 69-52 victory over Ohio Christian on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at James A. Rhodes Arena, in the Zips' final game of the non-conference schedule.
Every available Zip saw action in the affair, allowing several players to score in Akron's victory. With the win, the Zips improve to 7-4, while the Trailblazers fall to 9-7.
Senior Hannah Plybon (Orrville, Ohio) led all players with 17 points, while junior Greta Burry (Lakewood, Ohio) notched her fourth career double-double with a season-high 15-point, 13-rebound performance.
