What Larry Bird Expects From New Pacers Coach

Team president says coach sets the tone for accountability, practice habits, structure and players respecting each other.

Indiana Pacers president Larry Bird was asked for specifics Tuesday about his expectations for new head coach Nate McMillan and the players next season.

What shouldn’t have come as any surprise was Bird saying he doesn’t pay much attention to public opinion.
