Three observations from Miami's spring game

Miami wrapped up its first spring under Mark Richt over the weekend. Here are three quick takeaways from the game.

1. Brad Kaaya is in line for a huge year. But you probably already knew that, right? If there is one reason to believe the Hurricanes could make some noise in the Coastal (finally), it is Kaaya, who has picked up Richt’s offense with ease this spring. Kaaya threw for 345 yards and three touchdown passes to lead the Green team to a 24-7 win over the Orange team in the spring game. In the three team scrimmages Miami held, Kaaya threw for 763 yards, 10 touchdown passes and just one interception (it happened Saturday).
