Taquan Mizzell cannot be considered just a running back, at least not anymore.
Last season, he showed off his ability to be an asset out of the backfield as a receiver. Mizzell led Virginia in rushing (671 yards) and also broke the ACC single-season record for receiving yards by a running back (721). His 75 receptions led the team and rank No. 2 in ACC history.
His versatility makes him one of the most intriguing players on offense headed into the season. During spring practice, Mizzell took his customary reps at running back, but also lined up in the slot a few times.
