Byron Scott compared two top-of-the-draft point guards he's had the pleasure of coaching, each of which will play at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night.
CLEVELAND— Byron Scott is in familiar territory.
Physically, he’s in Cleveland, Ohio— a city that he called home for three seasons, as head coach of the Cavaliers.
Career-wise, he’s at the head of the Los Angeles Lakers— a team amidst a rebuild that will likely have a rookie point guard at it’s forefront.
The Cavaliers, when Scott was around, were much like the current Lakers in that they were an odd assortment without much of a chance of a playoff berth, but that special point guard gave them hope.
