1. Deon Bush -- A national recruit out of high school, Bush is the most experienced safety on the roster. He's played in 32 games, starting 20 of them. He battled through a lot of shoulder injuries early in his career but was at full strength for most of last season and he turned in a very good year, emerging as one of the top safeties in the ACC. He's the hardest hitter in the secondary, has a wealth of experience, will be counted on to be a leader, and should emerge as one of the top safeties in the entire country this season.
