Area of need: Offensive line
This has been an area of need for three years now at Louisville, but it became obvious over the last three games of the season. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was sacked 22 times over those games, ending the season on a low note after appearing to make some progress in the first half of the year. Louisville gave up 47 sacks on the season, third-worst among 128 FBS teams. The performance of the offensive line hurt Jackson and his ability to make plays because he simply had no time to throw, nor did he have time to even escape the pocket.
