Planning for success: Big wins won't derail North Carolina's focus

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The numbers were outrageous.

On the first play of the game, Marquise Williams hit Ryan Switzer on a flea-flicker for an 89-yard touchdown. By halftime, Williams added two more TD throws of more than 49 yards and scored once on the ground as North Carolina built a 38-10 lead and its QB racking up more than 400 yards of offense on his own.

“Those were ‘Madden’ numbers,” receiver Mack Hollins said.

Hollins had five catches for 165 yards and a score, and he made a point to note that he, too, was wide open on Switzer’s touchdown grab to kick off the fireworks.
