The Cavs continually preach ball movement as a key to success and the numbers can certainly back up that thought.

CLEVELAND— With each swoop of the marker upon the whiteboard, Tyronn Lue made the point more and more clear.

For the Cavs to be successful, especially from beyond the three-point line, they must move the ball.

“We put it on the board today,” Lue explained. “A no-pass shot is 27%, one pass is 32%, two passes is 40% and then three passes or more, we’re shooting 52% from three.”

While Lue and even former coach David Blatt preach ball movement incessantly, numbers such as these might be the best preacher of all.
