It seemed like it was just yesterday when it began, but the regular season in NCAA basketball has come to an end and standout guard Malcolm Brogdon of the Virginia Cavaliers is the ACC player of the year. Many had the award going to either Brogdon or to Brice Johnson of the North Carolina Tar Heels, but of that same group many gave a slight nod to Brogdon.
He also joins the ACC All-Conference first team as a unanimous selection and the All-Conference defensive team.
