LeBron James will play in his 12th All-Star Game for the Eastern Conference this February, while it remains to be seen whether Kyrie Irving will be an All-Star this season.
It's hardly news as this point, as it has been nearly a forgone conclusion for the last 12 years.
LeBron James was named an Eastern Conference All-Star starter on Thursday night-- the 12th time in his career he's earned the honor-- and racked up the conference's highest number of votes, finishing with 1,089,206.
Though James will be joined by his friends Paul George (Indiana), Carmelo Anthony (New York) and Dwayne Wade (Miami), he won't be joined by another friend, Kyrie Irving, who was passed over in the fan vote by Toronto's Kyle Lowry.
