Down goes Melo! Down goes Melo!…Knicks still win.
The New York Knicks were able to hold off the Boston Celtics 120-116, despite losing their star player Carmelo Anthony to injury.
Anthony went down with less than two minutes remaining in the first half. Anthony was holding his ankle in pain, after accidentally stepping awkwardly on the referee’s foot. Anthony was escorted off the court and did not return to the game, however x-rays came back negative.
Luckily, the rest of the Knicks were able to rally and defeat the Celtics behind rookie phenom Kristaps Porzingis.
