But the harsh reality is, only 11 have a legitimate chance to win the 2016 College Football Playoff. In the fourth installment of an 11-part series, let's take a look at another of the few teams that could actually win the CFP: the Florida State Seminoles.
According to ESPN Insider Phil Steele, Florida State is the only FBS team to return all 11 starters on offense. Steele notes that recent history indicates teams returning a high volume of starters tend to post a better win-loss record than in the previous campaign, which is one of many trends that favor the Seminoles chances for winning a second national championship in four seasons.
