Jeremy Cash will miss bowl, but his Duke footprint will never change

The most decorated player in Duke football history won't have a chance to suit up one final time for the Blue Devils. But know this: safety Jeremy Cash wanted to badly.

Just two weeks ago, at the ACC Legends Dinner in which he picked up his Defensive Player of the Year Award and Jim Tatum Award as top-scholar athlete, Cash said:

"It seems like I just transferred here, but ultimately we want to end the season with a win. We haven't won a bowl game since 1960 and to be a part of the class that changes that history and rewrites it, it will be a tremendous honor.
