Having not played all season for the Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert took a step towards a return to game action on Monday afternoon.
The Cavaliers haven’t practiced in a couple of weeks, but when they did so on Monday, they were joined by some very welcome faces.
Guards Kyrie Irving (knee) and Iman Shumpert (hand) returned to the court for practice on a limited, moderated basis Monday afternoon, but neither is medically cleared for basketball activities just yet.
“We had a moderated practice that we were able to get them to take part in a good piece of it,” Cavs coach David Blatt said.
