Frank Beamer’s tenure at Virginia Tech is coming to an end, but Hokies fans are hoping to send him out on a high note.
After former “College Game Day” host Chris Fowler tweeted out a thanks to Beamer earlier this week for helping make “Game Day” a Saturday staple, Virginia Tech blog The Key Play jumped on the idea of bringing the show back to Blacksburg one more time to send Beamer off in style.
The movement has gained plenty of traction in the last 24 hours, including from the Hokies’ head basketball coach and athletics director.
