Deshaun Watson doesn’t offer particularly sharp opinions on much of anything for public consumption. But when a reporter asked him earlier this season what question gets under his skin the most, he rubbed his knee and smiled. This one was easy.
“People asking about the knee, asking about my health,” he said.
In other words, for the better part of a year, the question Watson hated the most was the one he was asked the most.
It was just 12 months ago, in fact, that he jogged onto the field in Clemson with a protective brace on his knee that limited his movement and proceeded to decimate the South Carolina defense for a crucial Tigers win.
